About the Speakers
Sarah Moore has an extensive background in finance and operations. In July 2014, she began her duties as the Alabama Credit Union Administration Administrator (ACUA) after being appointed by Gov. Robert Bentley in April. Prior to joining the ACUA, she was the managing director for Renaissance Companies for four years where she specialized in investment management. She has 16 years of banking experience, as well as nine years of audit experience for Coopers and Lybrand.
Tim Segerson is the deputy director of the Office of Examination and Insurance (E&I) with the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). Tim is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of E&I and assisting the director with the implementation of agency-wide policy relating to examination, supervision and insurance, and guaranty fund risk management. Tim joined the Northeast Region of NCUA in 1992, and has worked as a problem case officer, field supervisor, as well as serving as director of Supervision and director of risk management in E&I.
